Los Angeles based artist, Elisa Cawley, has deep passion for light, color, balance, and silliness. One would think after winning the 8th grade award for best artwork and 2nd place in a lead paint awareness poster contest from the boys & girls club of Delaware, it would have been a clear and straightforward path to a profession in visual arts. Alas, ’twas not the case. With strong foundations in photography, film lighting, comedy, and a life-long obsession with color, the artist finds deep satisfaction and meditative peace in their convergence.
The intention of the work is to mirror one’s experience in nature. To simultaneously calm the nervous system, invite breath, and spark curiosity.
